I lied and stole. I tried to make myself better, but I kept failing.

How Jesus Changed My Life

I've grown up in a Christian home and have been going to church for as long as I can remember. The sermons started sticking out to me. I felt a desire to have a relationship with God. I now believe that I had been believing in a lie and that I was in sin, separated from God, and I couldn’t save myself. But God, being rich in mercy because of the great love with which He loved us (Ephesians 2:4) sent His son to die for us. Then God raised Him from the dead, defeating sin and death, and now we can have a relationship with Him. I am now alive in Christ Jesus.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

Now that I am in Christ, I don't lie or steal much anymore. I'm not as scared anymore (Joshua 1:9). My possessions don't matter to me anymore because Jesus is the only one who can satisfy.
