Before Jesus changed my life, I was lost. I believed in the gospel since I was christian raised, but my actions didn't show it. I attended church, and did all of the outward things but did nothing else. I hardly prayed, never really talked about Jesus, nor walked the path that he wanted me to. I did not have a heart change until God moved in my heart and opened the blinders of my eyes

How Jesus Changed My Life

Jesus saved my life by showing me that my life could have been wasted and I would have been separated from Him eternally. God used the situation of a car wreck by my friend to open my eyes to the Gospel. The Lord made me realize where my life was heading without a heart change. The truth of Jesus dying for my sins for eternal life really clicked. I could have gone to Hell and that scared me so much that it changed my life for good. God has given me a new desire to be connected to the church with my wife and daughter, and be the spiritual leader that He has called me to be.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

My life is different and continues to change. My desire for worldly things are diminishing, and my love and desire for Jesus grows. I am being baptized to demonstrate as a public declaration of my faith. This church has really been helpful to my spiritual growth, especially through the membership class. Leaders helped guide me into knowing that we are called to baptism as a demonstration of the inward heart change. I am saved by Jesus, and I want to show people!
