Before Jesus Changed My Life

Before Jesus, I was just going through the same old routine the majority of my time, which was just not caring too much about giving up time on my Sundays. I said that I believed in him but it was clear to others around me that I truly didn’t. I would go to church sometimes but there wasn’t a purpose behind it.

How Jesus Changed My Life

Jesus changed my life through going to church for the purpose of him and as I started to go more I just felt the weight lifted off of my shoulders. When I felt that weight get lifted off my shoulders I felt refreshed and I felt wanted. I realized that I had a place to go to in the darkest moments to bring the light that was needed. One of my first friends here at Coe, Griffin brought me to him, and my life since that day has been different. John 6:37 says, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

My life is different now because that weight is off my shoulders. It is different because of the bright light Jesus has brought into my life. My hope is in Jesus, and in times of need, I turn to my Bible to read the Gospel and what it has to say. I turn to writing out my thoughts and feelings and using the power that prayers have. He has made me into a man that I never thought I would be. I know that I have eternal life through Jesus because he died for our sins on the cross and gifted us his obedience. I know he did that because he loves us.
