LARGE GROUP SESSIONS

Each day includes a large group session with worship and preaching from God's Word. These sessions are designed to be clear and engaging, with time afterward for students to process and discuss what they're learning with their leaders.

CONNECTION GROUPS

One of the most fruitful parts of YTH Con is the time students spend in connection groups. These smaller gatherings create space for real conversation, growing friendships, and meaningful moments that tend to stick with students long after the weekend is over.

2 NIGHTS IN HOST HOMES

Students stay two nights in host homes with their leaders and the rest of their connection group — not in a hotel or dorm setting. Connection group leaders and host families provide transportation to and from Veritas Church for sessions.

QUESTIONS?

YTH Con takes place at Veritas Church in Cedar Rapids, IA. Students, along with their connection group, may participate in activities around town over the weekend.

Students should bring a Bible, notebook, clothes, toiletries, bedding, and any personal essentials. A detailed packing list will be sent ahead of time.

Cell phone use is typically limited so students can stay present and engaged. If you need to reach your student, you’ll be able to contact a leader directly. Emergency contact information will be provided before camp.

Cancellation details and deadlines will be included during registration. If something comes up, reach out to the youth team as soon as possible and they’ll help you navigate next steps.
